2018-2019 Senior Scholarships News



It is that time of year again when Jefferson City High School (JCHS) seniors begin to think and dream about the opportunities that lie ahead of them, after graduation. JCHS is pleased to have another great group of students who truly shine and are already seeking to propel their post-secondary education plans.

JCHS and the Foundation cannot thank you enough for providing a scholarship opportunity to such a deserving group of students. It is with pure joy to award these scholarships each spring, and we hope that you will mark your calendar to be available to experience and share in that joy as we host the 2018 Common Scholarship Luncheon on April 24, 2018, at the Capitol Plaza Hotel.

The following schedule has been established for the 2018-2019 Common Scholarship process:

November 30th                          Deadline for scholarship changes from sponsors

December 17th                      Common Scholarship application will be made available to JCHS seniors

January 18th                         Common Scholarship application deadline for students.

January 21st                         Sponsoring individuals or organizations should pick up completed applications from the JCHS counseling office.

March 1st                              Lists of scholarship recipients should be returned to the JCHS counseling office.

March 23rd                            Recipients will receive luncheon invitations.

April 17th                               Scholarship Luncheon, Capital Plaza Hotel, 415 West McCarty, Jefferson City, Missouri 65101 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00                                                 p.m. One representative from each sponsoring organization should plan to present the scholarship(s).
