JCPS Foundation

Teacher and School Initiative Grants

  • Teacher and school initiative grants are given each year to a selection of those teachers whom apply. These grants can be used in individual classrooms, up to $500 per grant, or as a grade level grants, which, when granted, are based upon the number of teachers in a specific grade level, up to $500 per teacher.

School grants are given, up to $5000, to supply a building with needs such as software, mentoring, literacy materials, or even playgound equipment.  The overall goal of the Foundation's grant program is to fund needs within the individual classrooms, or schools, that would not be obtainable through the District's general buget.

Below is a collective list of recipients based on the school year the funds were awarded. The teacher, or school, would then have the funds to utilize for the following school year.
