The Jefferson City Public Schools Foundation supplies funds for projects outside the regular school district budget through a grant application process. Funds donated by the greater community enhance programs that benefit students and support teachers.

     JCPS Foundation's goals include:

• Building an endowment to perpetuate funds for excellence in education
• Involving the community in the support of quality education gifting to the Foundation
• Obtaining contributions to facilitate student achievement
• Supporting educational programs and services in the Jefferson City School District

     A financial goal of the Foundation is to build a $432,000 endowment by the year 2010.
